Overview:
In the best of times, planning and forecasting is often an exercise in uncertainty. In today’s dynamic economic climate, this uncertainty is amplified. At a time when the need for agile planning and accurate forecasting is greater than ever, many organizations are falling short. As a result, many organizations are focusing more on driving the bottom line (profitability) versus the top line (revenue).
This webinar will share key findings from a recent international survey sponsored by Deloitte and SAP and conducted by CFO Research Services entitled, Driving Profitability In Turbulent Times with Agile Planning and Forecasting. The survey report highlights the finance department’s challenges in today’s environment of economic uncertainty and summarizes the priorities of senior finance executives.
Attend this webinar and you’ll learn:
- Key findings from the survey
- How bridging the “forecasting gap” can deliver more accurate and positive results
- The importance of automation and integration of data, processes, and technology to improving forecasting accuracy
- How SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation can help improve planning and forecasting accuracy, and reduce cycle time
- How to focus on future business performance, not past business failures
