Video: SAP CEO Leo Apotheker Joins CNBC’s Carbon Council

As government officials, industry leaders and green advocates gear up for the United Nation’s climate change conference in Copenhagen Dec. 7-18, CNBC announced the formation of The CNBC Carbon Council which consists of nine chief executives and chairmen from around the world, including SAP CEO Leo Apotheker. Among other things, the CNBC Carbon Council will be charged to debate how companies can cut emissions and enhance profitability.

Following the announcement, Leo jumped on Squawk Box to talk about software’s role in reducing carbon emissions and the larger business of sustainability:
